The Bradley NPT50 Nitrogen Purge Tool is trade tested and simple to use. Designed to regulate flow with 50 psi pressure, purging and brazing for refrigeration and air conditioning technicians.
When installing or repairing refrigeration/air conditioning lines, any pipe work should be purged with nitrogen to prevent oxidation around the internal joint, before and during the brazing process. The BRA-NPT50 is an engineered solution to do this easily and effectively.
Turning the knob allows you to PURGE at a pre-set regulated flow rate and then click the control knob to engage the BRAZE setting for a pre-set flow suited for the brazing operation. The device reduces the amount of gas used and limits any ingress of air during the repair or installation.
The BRA-NPT50 is designed to be used with a nitrogen regulator, we recommend the BRA-NR1000.
